A lot of people in Miami like their sports. Heck, I’m one of them. With so many sports to choose from in the South Florida area, it seems very hard to narrow down the one that Miami natives love the most. You’ve got the Dolphins, the ‘Canes, The Panthers, The Championship Heat, and of course our newly revamped Miami Marlins.

Which is Your favorite? Which have you seen in person last? My favorite is of course the ‘Canes. Go ‘Canes! But who have I visited most recently? That would be the Miami Marlins. Now, I know what you are thinking; they are well out of the playoffs and the season is just about over, why visit the Marlins? Well, we were paid to.

Actually, The Bleacher Report hired us to do a Miami video production with them for a web video series called “Know Your Ballpark”. In the episode we were working on, they highlighted the Miami Marlins Ball Park as well as some other Miami hot spots. We outfitted the production with a HD camera, an HD camera operator, and two production assistants. We even included lighting and camera support for their crew member as well.

All in all, the project went very well and we definitely look forward to doing more with the good people at The Bleacher Report. This is what they had to say about us:

The crew was great. You’ve been a great help. Thanks. – Weston Green, Producer

We thoroughly enjoyed the new ball park and even more so we enjoyed working on the production along side The Bleacher Report team. Check out the end result below or visit the Bleacher Report webisode Here.

Over the summer we had the opportunity to work hand in hand with Santa Claus and his elves. If you have ever wondered what those North Polians do during the warm summer months, the answer is making videos for all the boys and girls around the world. They make videos for good kids, for bad kids, and for kids that are working on their behavior. They also make videos for special occasions like kids’ birthdays, complete with cake and balloons. The all knowing Santa even has videos for kids that are sick or for military families. He just looks into his magic snow globe to see how you are doing anywhere in the world. So you better be good for goodness sake. At least, that’s what I’ve heard.

Unfortunately, I can’t show you the videos as they are not available for parents to customize and purchase for all the good boys and girls as of yet. From the people that brought you www.sealedbysanta.com comes a whole new line of video messages from Santa. Be on the look out for more info and how to order your personalized messages from Santa for your kids to enjoy throughout the year.

Here is a preview of what they look like:

Every once in a while we get to have an opportunity to really let our creative juices flow and push some limits. With Soho Studios, a client in the Wynwood area in Miami we had one of those opportunities. Their goal was to create a movie traileresque parody to show movie producers. They wanted to highlight their Warehouse studio space in a fun and interesting manner. They also said they wanted it to look like they spent millions of dollars and it would have been impossible to provide were it not for the help of some fabulous cinematographers and youtube/vimeo links. Because of these works and our own shooting and post production work we were able to showcase their space amongst some beautiful imagery. All the motion tracking and graphics were produced by our team.

I would like to thank the producers of those pieces with a link to their work and due credit.

Behind the scenes of ''Singing with angels

Heart warming is the phrase to describe this week for Zip In Media. This week we shot a a very special music video for the incredibly gifted musician and award winning teacher, Dr.laz.

Dr.Laz is the musical and performing arts director at the Quest Center in Broward, where they cater especially to kids with special needs. Through music and the arts, Dr. Laz is able to reach and connect with these profoundly special people. While doing all that Dr. Laz also has time to write several books and even songs in his own band, Dr. Laz and the Cure. His most recent single “singing with Angels” is about the special kids he teaches. To reach more people with the message of how great these kids are, he decided to make a Music Video production highlighting the song.

The video was shot in his humble abode in Miami. The video production features Dr. Laz, his band, and his current and past students singing and playing instruments. We all had a great time and are looking forward to shooting more creative and heartwarming video such as these. We currently offer a 10% discount to not for profit institutions and educational institutions for all video production or web design in Miami, Broward, and the Palm beaches. Thank you Dr.Laz for giving us the opportunity to be with you on this production and for such a great time! We wish you much success with more musical and artistic projects in the future!

This week at Zip In Media has been a very educational one, not just for our staff but most certainly for the clients of Palindrome Consulting. So now you are asking yourself how exactly has it been educational for them? How-to videos. In this day and age technology is no longer just a toy, its a tool. Whether it’s looking up the address for a restaurant, typing up an essay for class, or in the case of our most recent Miami video production, setting up a company exchange account; technology is and always will be a necessity. How you learn to use it is the key.

That was the mission for this week. Make several simple-to-learn how-to videos on setting up an Exchange account, accessing an Outlook account anywhere and many other computer and handheld how-to videos. As insignificant as these trivial tasks may sound it is actually a huge load off the shoulders of the CEO of Palindrome Consulting, Mr.Ilan Sredni.

For the longest time his team has had to switch from consultants to teachers and back again. The extra hand holding was weighing down on their resources. Although they are more than happy to assist all their clients in any way possible, it is still a very strenuous and time consuming task. But, thanks to our team at Zip In Media Productions, figuring out how to  set up your company exchange account is no longer a frustrating event for the clients of Palindrome Consulting. Now that education and curriculum is out of the picture, the great team at Palindrome can now focus on other important tasks at hand. Most importantly, their clients have the opportunity to look over the videos as many times as they feel comfortable. And learn it inside and out without any charge.

If you are looking to produce how-to videos; to show your clients how to do the trivial things, reduce customer care calls, and give you more time, then contact us today. We will get you back to doing what you do best. And allowing your clients to learn anything, anytime, anywhere.
